Radiographic sound processing
Fluorotype is an experimental radiography-inspired audio effect built around the idea of scanning, exposing, reconstructing and reprinting sound.
Instead of behaving like a standard distortion, filter or delay, Fluorotype uses X-ray maps, CT-style stacks, segmentation masks and factory image plates to shape the audio. It can move from subtle machine colouration to spectral smear, ghostly reconstruction, unstable detector artefacts, body-map filtering and strange radiographic print-through.
